Crisis Planning and Training
for AirAsia Group
In January 2014, we started working with AirAsia Group to create a programme of crisis communications preparation and training for all the airlines operating under the AirAsia brand.
The programme included providing a template for a new AirAsia Group crisis communications manual, which guided the company’s response to the loss of AirAsia Indonesia QZ8501 in December 2014. After the accident, we updated the training and led internal “lessons learned” briefings for the Group Chairman, senior management and 35+ PR staff from all AirAsia airlines and associated companies.
