Global Communications Consulting has worked with IATA since 2011 to define evolving “Best Practice” in crisis communications for the global aviation industry, in an environment where news of an accident or serious incident may break first on social media. This includes producing guidelines for crisis communications planning for airlines, airports, manufacturers, and other industry stakeholders. The most recent version was published in March 2019.
