Global Communications Managing Consultant John Bailey has worked on various initiatives for UEFA, governing body of European Football, since 2011. This includes developing “Best Practice” guidelines on crisis communications for UEFA’s 55 national Football Association members and being a regular guest speaker on the first master’s degree in European sports governance (MESGO), which is supported by five sports federations and five European universities.  John has presented a module on crisis communications and crisis management to MESGO participants in Barcelona three times, most recently in June 2019. He is currently working with UEFA on a programme to assist National Associations to develop their communications capabilities.
